: Managing Processes
<<return to services
How we think, how we manage, and how we engage stakeholders throughout the planning and development process are the drivers that determine how well we integrate and maintain the comprehensive, holistic approach successful regenerative projects require.
In addition to designing the process, we can manage it for you, or consult to and mentor your management team. We build the needed organizational, team and individual capabilities by integrating developmental processes into the project work. And we teach you how to apply living systems thinking.
Managing for Integration. A living systems approach creates teams that work like living systems. They are able to integrate technical & living systems, and implement co-creative partnerships between natural and built communities. Realizing the benefits of this integrative way of working requires bringing a systemic mind and an understanding of ecological processes, as well as integrative managing practices.
Applying living systems thinking. We live in a world of networked living systems, in nature and human society. Living systems thinking enables us to image these systems, which can’t be accessed through our senses. We then can understand how they work, why they work that way, where they are heading, and how interventions in one system affect all the systems it relates to and is made up of. Such thinking shifts the focus of attention from simply solving today’s problems to working to realize the upper limits of creative potential that a healthy system is capable of manifesting. It is the fundamental basis for transforming development into an agent of health and evolution.
